Our Design Build Process

Let’s get started! Use our Contact Form to send over your project ideas and contact information. We will follow up with a call to discuss, and if it seems like a good fit we will then schedule an initial consultation. This gets us from your inquiry to a mutual decision to work together, and gives our team an understanding of your project goals.

We sign a Design Agreement and the SCB team gets to work to find solutions for your needs. We will draw up your existing layout alongside new possibilities, create 3D renderings, scope out the complete project details and determine pricing. We will review the project design, scope and budget with you and refine as needed to converge on a solution that meets your needs and budget.

Once the final design, scope and price have been agreed upon, we will sign a construction contract. We will schedule your project start and a pre-construction meeting where you will meet your on-site project manager, finalize plans and submit for permitting, wrap up remaining selections and order long lead or special order items.

Construction begins and our production team coordinates the moving parts. The construction schedule is established, trade partners are organized, and the work gets underway. Your project manager will communicate with you while the work is on-going and you will have access to the entire SCB team via our project management system.

Once construction is complete, we will clean up and close out so you can enjoy your new space. We then move your project into the warranty phase. You will have access to our project management system to report any issues after the project is complete.
