Sean is a graduate of the Charles E. Via Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Virginia Tech and holds a Virginia Class A Contractor’s License. As the owner of SCB, he is extremely satisfied providing high quality custom design and construction services to his community in Blacksburg, VA and surrounding areas.

SALES AND DESIGN MANAGER

Cassidy joined SCB in 2015 with 10+ years of experience in residential design. She is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and Alpha College of Real Estate. She moved to Blacksburg in 2006 to pursue her Master's in Housing Studies at Virginia Tech, with an emphasis on Kitchen and Bath Design. At SCB, Cassidy does most of the drafting and design work for our remodeling projects and loves to find unique solutions to improve how people live.

PROJECT DEVELOPER

Doug has spent the last 10 years working in different aspects of the construction industry from Energy Efficiency, to HVAC, to Insulation. During that time, he has done Home Energy Audits, Operations Management, Estimating, Project Management, and Sales. At SCB, Doug helps lead clients through our design and estimating process, getting them ready for the construction process.

PROJECT MANAGER

Khris is a graduate of the Department of Wood Science & Forest Products with a discipline in Residential Wood Structures from Virginia Tech. After graduating from Virginia Tech, he worked for a national cabinet manufacturer in the Maryland and Central Virginia areas for 5 years before taking a Project Manager role with a reclaimed hardwood flooring and custom steel windows and doors manufacturer.

SELECTIONS/INTERIORS MANAGER

With over 20 years of experience in the home design industry, Jackie brings a well-rounded and informed perspective to every project. She joined SCB in 2022 following a successful career as both a designer and wholesaler, where she combined creative vision with strong market insight. A graduate of Radford University with a B.S. in Marketing, Jackie is passionate about crafting spaces that are both refined and deeply personal. She excels at balancing form and function, and takes pride in helping clients transform their ideas into thoughtful, livable designs.

BOOKKEEPER

VERTICAL SALES MANAGER

David joined SCB in 2024, bringing over 30 years of experience in the appliance industry, including roles in builder sales, manufacturer representation, and retail with G&H Appliance. As part of the SCB Homes division, David manages sales for Fabuwood cabinetry, ClosetMaid closet systems, and Sunspace sunrooms. He also supports remodeling projects and serves as a knowledgeable resource for appliance-related inquiries.

ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGER

Ethan graduated from Virginia Tech in 2022 with a degree in Building Construction and Real Estate. He spent three years as an Assistant Superintendent overseeing data center projects for a commercial contractor. In 2025, he joined SCB as an Estimator and Project Manager, bringing hands-on field experience and technical insight to every project.
